Ledbury's Civic Evening was held in the new improved Community Hall. Over 200 people attended, and there were many displays from organisations including our own Twinning Group.
It was a chance for Ledbury to celebrate again their success in Britain in Bloom, with the committee justly receiving the applause of the assembled people. The Mayor and Mayoress of Alcester attended, and were superbly received, Alcester and Ledbury both trying to win the Award, with Alcester winning the award for the previous years.
Allan Josepphson was received by the Mayor, Cllr Clive Jupp and Clive , a member of the twinning group, was delighted to receive the flag of Stromstad Kommun.
Allan was also able to assist Clive with his Swedish Translation!
Well done to the Twinning Group for a most professional display of information.
