Little Marcle Court was built in 1590, for the Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, and extended successively over the next three centuries. It is situated deep in the rolling Herefordshire countryside. Recently restored and offering perfect peace in an informal atmosphere.

Little Marcle Court also offers two beautiful self-catering cottages, Church Wall Cottage and Coopers Cottage.

With only three bedrooms available you are our very special guests.

Our aim is to offer friendly but unobtrusive attention in homely surroundings, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing break.

The South Room is situated in the oldest part of the house, is richly timbered and offers beautiful views of the Malvern Hills to the East through a unique 400 year old timbered window.

The walled garden on the south side of the house can be seen through a second window. It has full en-suite bathroom with shower, bath and bidet.

The East wing contains a large double room with views of the lake. This room has a full en-suite bathroom with shower bath and bidet. The twin room in the East wing has an en-suite shower room and dressing room.

Little Marcle Court is peacefully set within its own 15 acres of grounds only three miles from Ledbury. Lying between the Marcle Ridge and the Malverns, the house affords beautiful views in every direction. The Marcle Ridge footpath bounds the property.

Our Self Catering Cottages

Church Wall Cottage sleeps 4 and is available for those who would prefer self catering; comprising two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with usual facilities, fully fitted kitchen and lounge/dining room opening onto private walled south facing garden.

Our second cottage was completed in May 2002. Coopers Cottage overlooks the lakes and sleeps 8 people. It consists of a double bedroom on the ground floor with a shower room. A large lounge with open fire and a very spacious beamed kitchen with french doors leading to a south facing patio garden. There are three double bedrooms upstairs, one with en-suite facilities and one further bathroom. There is also a sun-deck to the front of the cottage overlooking the lake.
