The Prince of Wales has been running weekly Wednesday night 'folk' sessions for over ten years. The Prince sometimes features live bands on a Sunday at about 4 in the afternoon and on Thursday evenings. Check their listings for current information.
The Retreat has live bands most Thursdays and open mic sessions on Tuesdays. The last Sunday of each month is an open mic Super Session.
The Homend Poets meet at Ice Bytes on the last Tuesday of every month from 6 to 8.30 in the evening. An informal collection of poets and musicians reading their own and others' poems, they invite you to join them as a participator or spectator.
