The Talbot is a beautiful Oak Beamed Pub, it has a number of rooms which are all decorated in the style below - some large, some small. In some of the rooms it is not possible to find a corner of the room which is square or a wall or floor which is upright or level -such is the fascination of staying in a place so steeped in history. Some of the rooms were converted from the original hay and straw lofts when the Talbot was a traditional coaching inn back in the C.16th
