Ledbury is a great place to base yourself and explore the Three Counties.

Alongside the three cathedral cities of HerefordWorcester and Gloucester there are the spa towns of Malvern and Cheltenham to explore.

Ledbury is blessed with great views and walks in the Malvern Hills to the North; to the South the mysterious and magical ancient woodlands that are the Forest of Dean; to the East rises the Welsh Marches (Y Mers) and Offa's Dyke (Clawdd Offa) while to the West lie the Cotswold Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to rival both the Forest and the Malverns.

Dissecting this landscape of nature and agriculture are two great rivers - the Wye - designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the tidal River Severn with its special association with elver fishing in the Spring and nature's spectacular Severn Bore.

The Society hosts speakers on a regular monthly basis in the Burgage Hall. The Ledbury & District Civic Society owns the Butchers Row House Museum (left) and the Burgage Hall.

Ledbury Heritage Trail is produced for visitors to the town as a guide around Ledbury's buildings of interest. It includes a map and information about the town's history and architecture.

The guide can be purchased for £1 from Ledbury's museums in Church Lane and from Tourist Information at Ice Bytes in the Homend.
